"BELIEVE AND RECEIVE!"

Introduction To The Bible Study

When we pray, many times we are so focused on receiving what we are asking for or, what we desire, only to be disappointed when what we are asking for while in prayer does not manifest in our lives immediately.  However, as believers the Holy Bible teaches us that we can receive what we desire when we pray.

In other words, we should believe that we have already received that which we have prayed for in the spirit realm, while we are waiting for it to manifest in the physical realm.

A. "For This Reason I Am Telling You, Whatever You Ask For In Prayer, Believe (Trust And Be Confident) That It Is Granted To You, And You Will (Get It)."  Mark 11:24 AMP.

Mark 4:20  And these are they which are sown on good ground, such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth, some thirty fold, some sixty, and some an hundred.

1. Just as the ground receives a seed, we as believers can take possession of The Word of God and get results that are more than our desires and expectations!

2. We do not have to live defeated lives.  We can speak those things that are not as though they are, until they are manifested in our lives!

B. The Moment That We Became "Born-Again Believers", God Placed many "Good Things" On the Inside Of Our Born-Again Spirits.

1. Being "born-again" means that we (by the confession of our faith) have received The Gift of Salvation that was given to us by the sacrifice made by Jesus Christ on The Cross at Calvary.

2. This Gift of Salvation encompasses our "soundness of mind, our wholeness of body, our deliverance from our sin nature, our healing and total recovery, our prosperity and our financial, physical and spiritual well-being.

Philemon 1:6  That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

 a.  When we are facing troubling circumstances, we can acknowledge those good things that are within us in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace ye are saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.

 b. We received our salvation by grace through faith.

Colossians 2:9-10 AMP.  For in Him the whole fullness of the Deity (the Godhead) continues to dwell in bodily form (giving complete expression of the divine nature).  And you are in Him, made full and having come to fullness of life (in Christ you too are filled with the Holy Spirit - and reach full spiritual stature).  And he is the Head of all rule and authority (of every angelic principality and power).

 c. We are filled with God Himself - God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

2. God gives us both faith and grace, however, we also have a part in accessing His power.

 a. We will not know what we have access to, according to His Word, if we do not study The Word of God.

 b. We will not have access to Him without believing The Word of God.

 c. We will not have access to Him without taking ownership of what God has already done in our lives.
