"The Anointed Oil of Joy"

Hebrews 1:9 "You love what is right and hate what is wrong, Therefore God, your God, has anointed you, pouring out the oil of joy more than on anyone else."

God poured out His anointing of joy upon Jesus Christ, His Anointed One. And since we, who are God's children, are in Christ Jesus, we partake of his outpouring of joy!

I John 4:4 "Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them (the false prophets and the spirit of the antichrist that are in the world): because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world."

Nothing in this world can overcome the anointing but, there are many spiritual distractions that have been placed in the world by the enemy that are designed to steal your joy!
* Financial problems
* Work difficulties
* The continual stream of bad news through the media
* Others people who dump their problems on you
* Your enemies and your haters
* Hypocrites and those who are jealous of you
* Negative people and those who are constantly critical you
,
Because the anointing can overcome anything, none of these distractions has the power to defeat your anointing of joy! The only way that you can lose your joy is to give it away!
That's right! If your joy has been stolen, then you let it go! It was you who chose to be depressed. It was you who decided to lose or give up. Because Jesus Christ declared, "No one can rob you of that joy" (John 16:22). So it is us who forfeit the anointing when we are tempted to give in!

The truth of the matter is that, "We lose our joy when we give up on God." Why? because He is the source of our anointing. He replaces all mourning with joy!

The Prophet Isaiah writes in The Book of Isaiah 61:3 that, "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, . . . To appoint them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified."

Luke 10:21 "In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight."

Jesus Christ life was filled with the joy of "The Oil of The Holy Spirit". And He fills our lives with the same "Anointed Oil of Joy." How? Jesus Christ overcame the world through The Cross at Calvary and by His Resurrection.

Because of this, THE VICTORY OVER THIS WORLD AND ALL OF THE SPIRITUAL DISTRACTIONS OF THE ENEMY HAS ALREADY BEEN WON!
THROUGH HIS DEATH ON THE CROSS AND HIS RESURRECTION FROM THE GRAVE, NOT EVEN DEATH CAN ROB US OF OUR JOY IN CHRIST JESUS!

I Corinthians 15:54-58
54. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56. The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
