"What Makes God's Power Work?"
What makes God's power work is not for us to talk or confess circumstances (what we see, what we feel, and what we are experiencing), but rather, confess God's remedy, God's cure for the situation. That is what changes the situation, and what faith is all about.
When I say what God says, I am not telling a lie. If i have pain and I say I do not have pain, I lied. I am a liar. But if I say, "I believe I am healed," even though I have a temperature of 105, even though I HURT, I am not telling a lie, because I am not talking about how I feel. If I said i did not hurt when, in fact, I did hurt, I would be telling a lie.
If I prayed three days ago according to Mark 11:24 and I believe that i received my healing, I must now say, "I believe that I am healed!"
Remember that Hebrews 11:1 says, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." I have to keep it in the present tense. At that point I will be speaking life into my life. So, I will be making a positive confession based on God's Word!
